The only board that still schmooves is /pol/, and that's likely still just a bunch of bots. Over here, a thread can stay up for a day with only a handful of posters in it. Back in the day I used to frequent /fit/, where threads would come and go on an hourly basis. Now they stay up for 2-4 days in a row.Post volume is probably the lowest it's been since the 00s.
