movies are just boring. like, i watched jacobs ladder which is supposedly some deep psychological movie and it was genuinely fucking stupid and simplistic thematically speaking. the twist can be explained to a 10 year old. and oppenheimer was boring. movies are just "i want to be deep" encapsulations for boomers or people who are 30+ or "cineheads" who want to seem more old or elitist compared to their peers. if you want something deep then read a book or something
