I genuinely believe that if I had an autistic Discord NEET friend to study psychology and finance with, we could both solve all of each others problems and become millionaires.
I would be down for finance but psychology is gay and retarded
im autistic but not a neet anymorewhat kinda shit do you wanna talk about with an autist neet anyway? go more in detail
>>83675725>but psychology is gay and retardedYou need to understand psychology to invest in stocks though.>>83675730>what kinda shit do you wanna talk about with an autist neet anyway?Getting our lives together mainly. I am tired of not living up to my potential.
the whole partner thing is overblown and not worth it
>>83675737>the whole partner thing is overblown and not worth itNot really. If you have nothing else to do then why not study with someone? It makes studying less boring. If there is someone out there to hold you accountable you are less likely to quit. That is why a lot of college "weeder" courses force you to pair up.
>>83675735>You need to understand psychology to invest in stocks though.not that anon, but psychology is gay because the field is trash science and doesn't know nearly as much as it proclaims to. It is only barely a science, the tests are no rigorous enough, and there's no way to confirm that an experiment done this year will still be valid 30 years from now after a cultural shift. That's not to put the hurt on psych only though. Economics I would classify as not even a science, it's flat out just a moral philosophy.Finance is much more related to making concrete assessments from spreadsheets of data. You need to be able to model a company's health and generate a projection that translates into concrete assumptions on how realistic you think factor x is going to be. SO for instance, nvidia's stock makes no sense without rapid 4x year over year revenue growth. The question is, given your knowledge, is that realistic? You might know for instance about electronics, or you might understand the mining of relevant precious metals, you may understand lithography or legal restrictions that might impair them from doing this. You are really just trying to interpret data into a handful of reasonable data driven models and looking at the projections that justify current prices and asking yourself "is this really plausible?" Based on domain knowledge that you have which other don't.
>>83675773i used to be like you but then i realized it's just an innate desire to keep a prisoner like in The Cask of Amontillado or the friend who i forced to hang out with me every single day for several years
>>83675735Not really. It is a component but you can literally just target market corrections and geopolitics and still make a good profit (I have literally been doing it).
>>83675818>who i forced to hang out with me every single day for several yearsThey won't be "forced" if I am their only friend. I personally have no friends either. Plus I have big plans which need to be kept semi-secret. >>83675833Recommended readings?
