Local smoke shop got some new interesting looking prerolls.
Like ones with hash in the middle and sprinkled with kief and a gram of weed that apparently taste somewhat like watermelon sour patches.

I only really use vaporizers for flower and never smoke, but I might buy a few to bust open and vape.
Even if the quality ain't great it still sounds like quite the experience.

Also tried one of those professionally produced weed seltzers. Was like 20mg THC in the can.
It was ok. Like I got high but it really made me appreciate the entourage effect that terps have. Also the taste was very bland and in hindsight I probably should have mixed it with juice or something to improve the flavor.
Wasn't worth the price IMO. Would have been much better off getting more flower for the same price. Then I could vape it, save the AVB and made my own damn drinks that actually taste good for a fraction of the cost.

Now if they made a weed mountant dew or weed red bull they will get my full attention. But weed seltzers are overrated.

Often, filler like Meth, speed, and Caffeine are mixed in xtc (not disrespecting Meth. Pure Meth is awesome. My point is xtc may be unclean).
From research though, purity was on the rise in 2025!
~80+% of Euro lab-tested xtc pills contained MDMA while the US is coming in with ~60%.
But why gamble on weird pills? Crystals last longer in your stash, *can be measured* precisely, dosed safely, and more likely to be real uncut MDMA.

Not all crystals are blindly 100% MDMA, always doubt and verify. But crystal form is generally a good sign you aren't being fucked. They're hard to fake and are more often than not MDMA. On the other hand, some odd powder pressed into fun shapes of colorful pills. It could really be anything!

Synthetic Canthinones are very similar to MDMA: as euphoric, also inhibit-reuptake + increase release of Serotonin (+ Dopamine + Norepinephrine), some are empathogens (such as MMC-3/Bath-Salts), and on average a bit shorter lasting. It's hard, and would require a sharply trained person or a chemical test to tell the two apart.

Meth is easier to recognize.
1st, it lasts 8-12 hours, not 4-6.
2nd, some report being hornier than normal.
3rd, you may be able to differentiate which neurotransmitter is causing your euphoria by feel (I think I could, anyway).
Dopamine? Point goes to Meth.
Serotonin? Point goes to MDMA.
USA anons I've met ITT have confirmed Meth in their xtc/Adderall, as it's a cheap and common filler.

Never mind all that, just a pet peeve of mine.

Ime traveling the world in legal countries, it's all for show and marketing so they can plaster a high price on it and give it a weird name like "the hell toker" or "the moon express", but if you're curious, go for it. It'd surely get you high, the hash alone should be a good smoke/vape. Ime even shit hash has value and buzz you.

I've never drank or ate weed so I can't say about the seltzer, but adding some falvored syrup or juice would've been a good idea. 10-20mg per can is bad ratio of mg:consumed-matter imo. You can handle more edibles eapecially if you vape your weed. Next time get 25-50mg gummies and see where it leads. Didn't mix the two but have taken a lot of both on seperate times. Pregabalin is a somewhat dim somewhat drunk feeling. I stared at a chair for 20 minutes thinking it's my cat looking back at me. May've blurry/double vision, and fucked motorics like, I couldn't walk straight at all and needed to lean on walls. Mild euphoria/stimulation/an itch in your skull saying you're on something. Idk if I forgot anything. It sure beats being sober. I recommend it overall on its own.
Weed is, well, weed. Nothing new I can add there.
I'd wager the mix would be "alright" at best. They don't really potentiate each other. It'll be like Alchohol and weed without the negative effects of Alchohol. So if that's your cup of tea combo, go for it.

Each will help you exist one more day on its own.
Together they may be redundent.

That'd be considered very cheap here. All drugs are more expensive in my cunt. Meth costs more than speed, which I understand is the opposite abroad. ~130$ is locally a round number most grams of a drug would cost at minimum.
Lyrica costs as much for 16,800mg or 56X300mg capsules. 5 tabs of LSD cost as much. 5 xtc pills cost as much iirc. A g of ket costs as much.
Oxycodone cost ~160$ for 20X10mg pills. Prolly cus it's an Opioid and those are addictive, so they overcharge.
900mg of Medical-grade Amphetamine or 30X30mg pills costs ~290$ cus it's pharma-grade, thus overpriced.
And the sad thing is, people pay those prices. The drug market is really united around the prices, too. No dealer will break the status quo and charge less than standard. Though you can find dealers charge more than standard.

It depends on what experience you're looking for. If you want a longer roll with a second mini-peak you'd redose 50% of the initial dose 90 minutes to 2 hours after taking it. The timing is crucial afaik. I'm prone to redosing. So I'll prolly redose once a roll as recommended to at most. But I look for the longer lasting highs (like Meth, or Lyrica, both of which last until the next day). Idk if it increases the likelyhood of having an after-glow. A higher main dose would prolly do that more reliably than redosing. I've had good after-glows under influence of 80-100mg and I weigh ~200lb or ~90kg. So you never know. Do some trial and error and see what works best for your goals.

It might be novel, yeah. Some isolated stone-age tribes in Brazil smoke raw wild Tobbaco until they're near blackout from wooden bong like pipes. The plant the Lotus Eaters consumed is a fiction.
But some weaker psychoactive plants are globally legal and were most prolly used in ancient med-care and rituals (love, battle, prayer, etc.).
See Kava and Cacao to name a couple.
I prefer the drugs that work and strong. So until they find a legal ancient drug that's as good as Meth, real drugs it is for me (though Khat and synthetic versions are at the top. Only the plant is legal here, not any derivitive. Kratom and 7OH are illegal here, sadly)

Secondary plan is I could probably BS my way into a medical card. Isn't ideal in my state but at least if I am somehow caught with small amounts I would get a pass.

Even if the ban doesn't go fully through, it seems even the pro pot polititans are hell bent on hyper regulation, over taxation, and a total end to interstate commerce of "intoxicating" hemp in all it's forms.

There is also a annoying push from the state level to try to make only low dose drinks legal and have them piggy back on alcohol's framework while banning everything else, including effectively banning CBD.
All despite such measures being wildly unpopular with the public at large. Like we voted for full adult use legalization and they just threw out the vote totally and are now just doing whatever they want.

Very mild and mostly harmless.
Generally not worth the cost unless you are super into experimenting with dream related stuff, as it's allegedly good for producing vivid dreams and make sleep easier.

I have only had it mixed with other herbs so don't know for sure it's effects on it's own.
I can guess from it's lack of popularity in the alt-drug and legal high crowed that it probably nothing to write home about.
Probably one of those herbs where the whole time you are wondering if it really is having any effect at all, unless you get your hands on concentrates.

Dverything is fair game when avoiding drinking: meds, self punishment, maybe save for a padded cell and a straight-jacket. I only got drunk and black-out once. I had 500ml of 40% spirit. Woke up the next day flat on my room's floor, in a puddle of vomit, mom stand over me at the unlocked door. I try to avoid all booze nowdays. Not a beer. Alchohol has just become a no-go drug for me and it's habitual by now. Good thing, too, I think.

Becoming aware again post black-out only to immediately try to black-out over and over sounds like a nasty habit to develop and must be self-detructive. Nothing I can say may come as news to you, so instead talk, I'll hope. Hope you win against this demon, will rid yourself of the bitter drop's grip altogether, and that you'll come out the other side of this better-off, wiser, and well-disciplined.

See, to put needs ahead of wants, like you did, is very promising and to be reinforced! I think it's the Dopamine antagonistic way my APs act that dampen effects. Lyrica had better results for me. So I still get Lyrica and stopped with the percs. Way too expensive anyway to be stocked in the stash more than once in a long time.

Prolly Post Acute Withdrawal Symptoms (PAWS), which could last even 6 months after quitting. Depression has over/under sleeping and over/under eating. So expect like 3 hours of sleep and dropping mass quickly. When I was clinically depressed I became underweight at 50kg (~110lb) and now I'm 90kg (~200lb). It's not looking like depression to me.
