The nuke thing wasn't for being vaporized ground zero, it was for things falling on the head, The school shooter thing is to hide from line of sight.It's not like schools are able or willing to teach "stay away from niggers and faggots", especially when they're under orders from the Big Gay to shovel them down their throats.

Don't hunker down in a classroom if you don't see the shooter yet you have better chances running. Which honestly makes more sense to me you're just a sitting duck in a classroom and it's harder to hit a moving target. It is the realistic response in the real world anyways. If I saw some niggers having a shoot out in the streets I wouldn't hide behind a car I'd run away from the scene and get the fuck outta there.
