I'm currently 22 (turning 23 soon) and basically work like a DoorDash driver/gig delivery person in my country, low-skill, low-pay jobs to get by. My only real skill is fluency in English (besides my native language). I'm studying Computer Science (CS) at a university in Italy, but my approach is just cramming to pass exams and then forgetting everything because I never review or apply it.What I want is a comfortable job with the fewest possible working hours, or at least one where I have flexibility to do what I want when I want, and still earn a good enough salary to afford buying my own place/apartment eventually. My question: How can I improve my situation quickly, get away from heavy programming/CS work (which I don't enjoy), but still leverage my upcoming CS degree to get better opportunities? Is the end? Should I kill myself?
>>83681758sounds like you want to work in a vape shop or maybe even own a vape shop
It's over for you. Social mobility is dead. You will die poor. Should have been born earlier.
>>83681767i dont know if it's a joke, but it sounds like a fun job
>>83681791if it sounds like a fun job where could the joke possibly be?

>>83681758Don't know if it is the same in Italy, but in the US, the only people who get those comfy, well paying, low hour jobs are people who have been in a company or industry long enough to have leverage. When you are early in your career you are going to have to eat shit in one way or another. Whether that means extra schooling, long hours, or low pay, you will likely have to choose at least one of those early in your career, especially if you don't want to have to deal with the other two. My advice to you would be to just thug it out in a programming job and try to find some purpose in life outside of work. Most people are not big fans of their jobs, that's just a fact of life. At least programming is fairly well paid and isn't too taxing. Also,>captcha expired>have to wait another minute to do the six step monkey danceThis shit sucks it's like they don't want us to use this site
>>83681758Bro, CS is by far the worst possible job you could strive for for this. First, you will need to send an average of 300 applications to get a job. Second, the job requires 100% focused attention at all times where you're basically solving puzzles in your head constantly, crunch deadlines, and anywhere in the world where that's permitted, extreme amounts of consistent overtime, especially if on-call.
>>83681758I'm sorry bro I stole an italian femanon gf from your country...

>>83681758>Is the end? Should I kill myself?kek pretty muchthis is a level of delusion that can not be remediedyou would have to get born rich to have such a lifestyleyou wouldnt be working as a wagie if that was the case though
