I just watched American Psycho. I don't really have anything to add in particular. I just wanted to say that I did. Thank you.
>>83682834Meme movie
>>83682836Yeah but there's a reason it's a meme movie. It's pretty great
>>83682834I want to read the book
>>83682843Yeah if you're a retard
>>83682856Guy is so mad he kills people. Can you really complain?
No Country for Old Men is my favorite movie and you should watch it
>>83682834what was your favorite scene opfor me it's the atm saying feed me a stray cat
I recently watched Blade, Blade Runner and Lethal Weapon. They are pretty good action movies but Blade Runner confused me (in particular the ending) and I thought the part where Harrison Ford rapes that replicant was kinda disturbing.
>>83682854If you liked the movie you'll like the book
>>83682873Gonna watch it next up desu>>83682887If he didn't want people to become Sigma like him then why'd he have to be such a Sigma. Anyways honestly I'd have to say the murder of the hooker particularly stood out to me
>>83682834its interesting how a movie directed by a woman based on a book written by a gay guy where the core themes are insecurity and delusion had incel niggas thinking it was tuff for a few years
>>83683336Honestly, i couldn't care less. A movie can be written by a gay queer disabled muslim mixed raced jewish trans child and I'll still watch it if it's good.
>>83683342the movie is pretty good, i was just commenting on the newgen fanbase it cultivated a few years ago. Do you think bateman was making it all up or do u think he really killed all those people?
Like most things the fanbase made it dogshit. It's like MF DOOM after he died his fanbase became 15 year old white boys
>>83683362Well, it's a movie. So suspension of disbelief first and foremost, but that line about Paul Allen did strike me as odd, though maybe an outlier or perhaps something purposefully meant to deceive. For most of the movie, I just took it as a fantastical depiction of Bateman's fury. But I also supposed it could be considered that it's only the inner fantasy he's projectijg in his mind. In the end, I don't known I'm not the author. But I like to think he did. And those final lines do also sort of cement the idea, although those could be equally metaphorical.
