They keep not getting fired for some reason. They are usually given the simplest of tasks and they can do those tasks. But when the demand is high, they end up having to do more complex stuff and oftentimes they lack the competence to do that properly.

The big DEI push to get more women into tech resulted in a lot of women being hired who liked the pay but didn't like the work and couldn't do it well anyway. So they ended up creating a bunch of new "tech" jobs for them that have nothing to do with the actual tech despite having tech-sounding names. 99% of Project Managers are women. 100% of the "Product Engineers" I've met are women. I've never once met a male "Delivery Manager." It's just DEI and title inflation so that women can feel like they have a seat at the table.

The richest, most powerful country in the world. We have so much extra money we can pay hoes six-figure incomes to do nothing in an office except look pretty and still come out ahead. We'd be better off if this wasn't happening. But it's happening and we can afford it... For now.
