bmi doesnt tell us how weight is distributed, so 17 bmi doesn't necessarily mean you have 8% bf. you may have, or be close to it though. but if that's the case and you dont have any muscle definition still you must have very little muscle mass. i hope you dont have some kind of eating disorder? i would advise you to gain both muscle and fat, then cut down later. you would then see muscle definition long before you hit 8% or close to 8% bf

you're almost certainly not sub-8%, even at 17 bmi. but if you are, you don't really have to do very much to get muscle definition at that kind of weight. just do something, anything, every now and then.

Sounds like you have low muscle mass then. If you keep cutting further you will just look like those anoxeric skeleton women and still lack muscle definition. No way around it, you will have to start a strength training program and slowly lean bunk.
