Consider how it affects your life if you fail to perform your job duties well enough.
You lose your ability to feed yourself and your home.
You get escorted off the premises by a McCop with a gun. "You aren't skilled enough to carry out our duties, you are a danger to our shareholders and society. Destroy all privileged information you have about us."
Your failure to perform is effectively a criminal record and moral failure. "What a piece of shit Anon was."

this is one item on my list of reasons i moved out of america
>>
>>83688340
Literally same.
Before I moved I was heavily demoralized because the internetz told me everywhere but america was a shithole. I feel like I lived in hell for decades and finally got to land on the entrance to heaven. It's such a wide gap between the shithole that america is (has become?) and what at least some places left on earth are like today.

Credit is pretty easy to maintain. Just pay your shit on time and don't spend beyond your means. The last part is key and is what often trips up people, especially young adults that dont understand the concept of credit cards.

You used to just be able to go to another town and start over, now if you stumble once youre fucked forever because an AI algorythm determined youre probabillistically less optimal

It's true but your score can drop for a while if your credit mix gets altered, paying on time or paying off a big loan, being without debts etc can drop your score from 825 to 550 at the drop of a hat.
The majority of people, employers included, are too stupid to understand that.

If you fuck off for a year your credit resets to ~700. You have to do to your whole life or else. Any event in your life can fuck that up fast. Have to declare bankruptcy for any reason (e.g. you were made redundant in the middle of a financial crisis)? Congrats you'll be homeless, jobless, peniless and creditless for 5+ years.
In many locales, you now need to have a sufficiently high creditscore just to be allowed to rent, even though you also have to give 2-4 months advance rent as deposit and are bound by a yearly contract. How do teens get to live in a uni town away from the parents then?
It's fucked up.

>I HECKIN NEED FANCY DRINKS AND LE DOOR DASH

More and more, teens need to take out gigaloans to attend their prefered unis. You also have predatory property companies building garish apartment buildings at $3-4k a month last I checked. So yea, I get your point.

How is it legal for private companies to create what's essentially a chink social credit system? This would be blatantly illegal anywhere outside of America.

They have that outside america, but it's based on "lifestyle characteristics" including what job you have, income, education level, etc. rather than based on a totally useless action pattern that is purely done performatively.
