I don't understand why our dream reality can't be our default reality?

The fact that we can do insane shit, physics bending sci fi tier shit in our dreams shows that we can experience that kind of stuff and there's not actually some kind of science law block towards it

So why couldn't the laws of the dream reality be the laws of this reality?
