Day 31 of watching a movie every day from a list of movies i compiled last year from /r9k/ /tv/ and tiktok.>list can be found herehttps://letterboxd.com/negamoth/list/2026-one-movie-a-day-list/>previous thread>>83804166Today's movie was Adam's Apples (2005)Another danish movie, this one was way funnier than the last one and they had the same actor, Mads Mikkelsen. In the last movie i thought he was just a danish doppelganger i had no idea the dude spoke danish or that he was danish. anyways this movie was hilarious right from the get go. it was kind of fantastical the way the guns worked in this movie like when that skinhead guy got shot in the chest point blank and just limped away like he was shot in the leg, that was silly, i guess in this movies universe guns just aren't that lethal. i also predicted the thing that happens near the end with the tumor, but that didn't take away from the movie and the wholesome ending was very satisfactory.i'm rating this movie a 4 out of 5i've been kind of a few hours late to these threads and that's because my sleep schedule got messed up.
>>83810315man I haven't watched a movie in a while, I recently watched twin peaks, maybe I should watch all of david lynch's movies
>>83810324twin peaks is a show right?what is it even about, i have a vague memory of me trying to watch it and all i remember was that some guy captured a ghost in a cube in a high rise, but it seemed lame and uninteresting to me, does it actually get good?
mads mikkelsen is aweosme loved his performance in pusher, another good review kinoanon. are you uploading the reviews you post to 4chan to letterboxd as well?
>>83810360i thought about it, but i'm just archiving them on a google doc for now mainly so that in a few years i can read through the reviews and see what i thought about these movies that i'll likely have forgotten about. i would have to alter the reviews for letterboxd, they do reviews differently, it's like a different vibe there.
>>83810349a ghost in a cube? you must be thinking about something else (or I already forgot about that part) but twin peaks, basically if you didn't like the first episode you're just not gonna like the show.I'm bad at plot summaries though, sorry anon
>>83810315i feel like movies and tv are the weakest forms of art, it never effected me like how music can effect me
>>83810377not OP but I personally place movies above tv shows but I agree that music is the superior form of art
>>83810376To me lynch is kind of a gimmic now, he lost his mojo, and the ghost cube show that i saw that was supposed to be directed by him or something was like a parody of his work. but maybe i just didn't get it. i liked some of his movies, but not all his stuff.>>83810377music is definitely more powerful than movies and tv shows, but they're still entertaining they still do their job.
>>83810377also not op but Music>Movie>Shows imo, would put vidya over shows even
>>83810315Gonna start watching with you
>>83810524nice, a movie watching pal
>>83810315This is a terrible terrible fucking list.Here. This one is way better evenhttps://www.empireonline.com/movies/features/best-movies-2/#10
>>83810571i've seen most of these, the list i have are specifically movies i've never seen or heard of with the exception of a few movies i have seen to serve as a palete cleanser.
