Next character roll I would recommend being tortured by glowniggers at 13 years old in a way that disrupts your normal puberty and hormones. Yes it destroys your future in the long term but at least you have hair

You got to add in minoxidil as well.

Is there a story behind this post?

Can't regrow hair without a vasodilator like minoxidil. You need to stimulate your hair follicles, finasteride will only stop the shrinking process by regulating the amount of DHT that makes it to the receptors. I would suggest oral minoxidil and one derma stamp session every week.

Also, toss finasteride and get on dutasteride. You're risking the same exact side effects for a vastly inferior product, it is by every measure more effective at managing hair loss and it also makes your skin less greasy because it also regulates DHT type 3 production which finasteride can't do.

Also, good results will mostly come from long term use, reviving shrunk follicles takes several years if it even happens. Took me 3 years to get decent growth on my temples.

You have nothing to lose by continuing because it isn't expensive so you might as well keep trying.

Keep at it. It's important. Maybe also get a buzz-cut for the time being. It looks less terrible when balding than having longer hair. Also get on minoxidil. Having really short hair will help prevent it from blocking delivering min to the scalp.

doesn't dutasteride have more severe side effects? Not OP but i'm on finasteride, i noticed less semen production, i imagine if i go on dutasteride i'd be completely castrated. Ofc, that makes me a statistical outlier to have such effects.
And i do believe dutasteride has in general a higher percentage of side effects...

There are no pros without cons mate

No, it's pretty much the same risk and the same side effects. You can read it up. It's literally within margin of error and the only real difference is that if you do happen to get side effects, dutasteride takes a lot longer to get out of your system because of how it works.
>i imagine if i go on dutasteride i'd be completely castrated.
Doesn't happen with either, you don't get "castrated".
