Because some guys are desperate and willing to ask out anybody they don't see unwanted attention or previous relationships as a accomplishment or a signal of their desirability. When I was in college a guy sent out an email to the entire class asking them out. Maybe she wants to hear what makes her so special bc girls aren't so malebrained they'll ask any warm body tolerable, they usually find one guy special enough to obsess over. They're all insecure, no matter how pretty or sought after otherwise theyre possibly vapid and egotistical.
