Have any anons ever thought about getting a mail order bride? Or even gotten one before? If so why or why wouldn't you get one?

I've always considered it, but I'm a hopeless romantic and worried that there wouldn't be much real romance in a relationship like that.

Mail order used to literally mean pick one out of a catalog and have her brought to the US without any real way of knowing her beforehand.

Nowadays they're all basically generic online dating websites where you can talk with potential women until you're sure you found the one and bring her over to the US or vice versa.
