Just don't go overboard on the small measures (salt, yeast, vanilla, etc.), don't add all the water/liquid right away (3/4ths while you develop gluten by hand; all in if you have a stand mixer) and watch videos on yt to pick up on any quirks the process may have; many people fuck their meringues up because they use plastic bowls and tools instead of aluminum/pyrex, for example.
