I can understand getting rid of public sector government enforced segregation, but private sector segregation should never have been banned. It's a basic matter of freedom of association, you should be able to decide who you do or don't want to do business with, whether that's allowing people into your store or restaurant, hiring them in your business, or selling them a house in your neighborhood.

It may be morally wrong, but under natural property rights it should be allowed. Most of it probably would have gone away anyway, because people would boycott segregated businesses, which is obviously also permitted under natural rights.
