Something that I realized today is that autists are the real NPCs. The reason why diagnosed high-functioning autistic people cannot join most militaries is because we can't understand how other people think. War is all about understanding your enemy so if you are unable to do so you risk getting yourself and everyone else killed. The only use a high-functioning autistic person would have in a warzone is as a kamikaze pilot of some variety.
What are you if you lack theory of mind anyways? How can you possibly understand yourself if you cannot understand others? All of our knowledge starts off from other people anyways.

Actually it's "normal" people (aka there are just more of them) that are the true npc. They cannot, CANNOT, work out anything outside of a hierarchy. Any idea, plan, new input or judgment HAS to be filtered first by the hierarchy, then and only then on merits.So if they're are presented by an idea by a person they deem beneath, they will automatically dismiss it. This is not in purpose, or conscious, it is just how they operate.
