work actually helps take your focus away from your mind, as long as it is something where you have to work with your hands. when you can zone out and get in the flowstate, you'll actually find some degree of enjoyment out of your work. don't be scared peep, be excited about the new people you'll get to meet and the cool new things you'll learn. if you find the work is overwhelming and taking a negative toll upon your wellbeing, try your best to find new work. there will always be up and downsides to any job, but you gotta seriously consider if the upsides are worth enduring the downsides.
