What is the correlation between having autism (Asperger's level one support, etc.) and being an incel? I have Asperger's and I can't talk to women (female living beings in general). Is this a modern problem or has it always been like this? Because if it had always been like this, I imagine there would be fewer people with autism, but there are quite a few (natural selection?)

But to answer your question, autism severely nerfs your ability to socially and sexually connect with your neurotypical peers. The amount of times I have had people aggressively hitting on me and just not realized that is what was happening is a lot, and it is something that has happened with multiple people over a long span of time. But to make matters worse, because of your idiosyncratic mannerisms and style of communication, when you as an autist try to engage with others a lot of the time it comes off as uncanny or weird and does so in literal seconds of starting to talk to someone. And it's often for reasons that are basically impossible to determine and to correct requires a hard effort of affecting and posturing yourself in all the right ways.
