I've never thought about it before, but the LG tv in my living room has had its screen on everyday for the past 8 years. The only person who uses it is my mom who keeps it on 1 of 2 channels throughout the day. When she sleeps, she just lets the box go to sleep and the tv stays on screensaver all night.

How long have you had an old TV last? How long are they supposed to last with this kind of use?

oh yeah very long super long
