How do I improve my wardrobe to look better to women?
Is jeans and some nice-quality polos instead of cargo shorts and graphic tees enough, or do they want you to have a defined, fashionable "style"?
I have no clue how I'd want to dress if I did have any fashion sense, so something simple, generic and widely acceptable to women would be easiest for me

I have no idea, anon. I'm autistic and don't understand fashion in the slightest. Clothes are clothes. I don't understand why people care so much about it. But just try to color coordinate and avoid graphic tees, cargo shorts, and any shoes like sketchers. Normalfags don't like those things for whatever reason.

i like to wear my cool jacket to make myself feel cool while also wearing my cool hat and cool sunglasses and my favourite band t shirt

Fuck, that sounds bad ass. I don't know if it's normie approved though.

>>83853280
don't care what the normies think, this is how I like to dress. You don't need to be a fashion professional to know what you like

unironically go to reddit for this (malefashionadvice) and just buy and wear the reddit NPC outfits

When developing your own style it's best to start simple.
Things to avoid:
- graphic tees
- cargo shorts
- clothes that are too big or too small (oversized only looks good if you're a small cute girl)

Where to start
- Buy a bunch of solid colored T shirts, then get a jacket or two and some casual long sleeve button downs like flannels or corduroy shirts. Wear the solid T shirt with the jacket or button down over it unbuttoned
- Get a few different shades of jeans, and at least one pair of khakis/slacks. Get all of your pants tailored. Most pants stores like Levi's will do that for you for free. It makes a huge difference.
- For shoes literally just don't wear like skechers or newbalance and you'll be fine. White sneakers never go out of style, look into some adidas or reebok white sneakers

Once you start dressing like an adult it's gonna feel boring. But once you have a good baseline you can start getting adventurous with fun patterns and experiment more. Thrift stores are good for this.

I know I said no graphic tees but that one actually looks cool, Gengar is a based pokemon. That shirt would go really hard at a music festival or just a casual hangout but not something like a date. You could also style it with an open shirt or jacket over it like I said.

Yeah layering would be a big step up for me. I live in the southwest US, it's over 70 most of the year though. I'm wondering - fairly subtle, two-tone hawaiian shirt unbuttoned over a white tee? Not the super garish boomer ones, just pastel/tropical colors with a white print or vice versa. What pants would go with this?
>Most pants stores like Levi's will do that for you for free
Holy shit had no idea, I'd been buying them from Amazon like some kind of sucker
>For shoes literally just don't wear like skechers or newbalance
Currently I've got canvas skate shoes, white sole with black upper, wannabe Vans essentially. Those are neutral enough to go with most things, yeah?

Yeah that's fine. If you live in a warm climate don't worry about layering, just get some short sleeve button downs to wear.

If you have uniqlo anywhere nearby go there. Everything they sell is simple and timeless even if it falls under the umbrella of fast fashion slop. All you need are a few t shirts in different colors, a couple oxford shirts in white and blue, one or two pairs of straight fit jeans in black or indigo, and a pair of slacks also in straight fit. Just looking put together as simply as possible will put you ahead.

Polos are pointless cancer.
Get blazers. Blazers get on other level and command respect (if people have mind to perceive clothes seriously)
>>

>graphic tees
They are completely fine if go with dark jeans, dark leather boots and dark blazer. They become equivalent of women's decollete hiding boobs. Peopos try to peak into your blazer to see what is your tshirt actually saying. But dont wear graphic tees as external l;layer.

>White sneakers never go out of style, look into some adidas or reebok white sneakers
Dark smooth leather boots or timberlands (brand recognition) beat sneakers all day every day.

What does getting pants tailored involve? I can like just bring 5 different pants to Levi's and tell them I want them "tailored" and they'll know what to do and it'll be free?
