Nostalgia will genuinely kill me one day
>>83925099>why is Gen Z OBSESSED with 2016?Who is Gen Z though? 13 - 18 year olds or 25 - 30 year olds. Do these people even have a framework or do they just reuse buzzwords they picked up from other commentators without context?
>>83925099WAY too much lil uzi vert in these thumbnails
>10 years in the future >WHY IS 2026 SO NOSTALGICwhy does not a single fucking person understand the concept and psychological effects of "growing up"
>>83925099What is this bullshit?I was literal main character age in 2016 (13 y/o) yet I found it completely unremarkable
>>839250992016 was one of the most miserable years of my life. i spent half of it depressed and estranged from my family, i would stay at my grandmas and go to school from her house. i feel no nostalgia toward that year, 2017 and 2018 were better.
>>83925099The Logan Paul shit was January 2018, and nobody (but me) was watching Technoblade in 2016. He was just a random minecraft pvp youtuber. Fucking POSERS
>>83925122>Who is Gen Z though? 13 - 18 year olds or 25 - 30 year olds. Why are you saying "or?"Gen Z as of today are 13 (turning 14 later this year) through 29 (turning 30 early next year), or to put it another way, they are birth years 1997 through 2012. That's how long a generation lasts. About 15 years for most of them, except the baby boomers which are 18 years because they were defined by the baby boom that followed WW2 and lasted 18 years, and then the silent generation was defined as 17 years for similar reasons (differentiating them from the baby boom period and also setting the earlier end of their birth years range based on not being old enough to fight in World War 2).
>>83925271I was also 13 in 2016 and I can kindaaa relate like I spent thousands of hours on 4chan that year rather than any instagram/vine, didn't play Pokemon GO at all or go outside except for school. But I still watched filthy frank, leafy, idubbbbz, h3h3, keemstar, all those guys and I knew of all the rappers and normie memes like Confused Mr Krabs. There's also the Trump vs Hillary election which was a huge part and I don't know how you couldn't have been at least somewhat caught up in that assuming you were also chronically online like me. 2016 absorbed nearly everyone even weirdos, you're a real outlier if you found it 'completely unremarkable'
>>83925383>thousands of hours on 4chan>13that is just sad
