Day 47 of attempting to watch a movie every day from a list of movies i compiled last year from /r9k/ /tv/ and tiktok.

Today's movie was 28 Days Later

I have a bias, i have a hatred for zombies, it's because of the zombie mania of the late 2000s. Remember when every game was about zombies and every movie and all the metal bands had a t-shirt with zombies on it. it made me hate zombies. I actually tried watching this movie before my hatred of zombies came to be and i think i might have fallen asleep right at the start of the movie which is why i added it to the list just to give it a fair shot this time. I gotta say i wasn't disappointed, it was interesting and at times cute. It would be so freaky to wake up from a hospital one day and basically be the only living person in a whole city and then finding out about zombies would be crazy. the movie was actually quite good although predictable at times, but that didn't hurt the movie, predictable is sometimes good. If this movie had came out today people would criticize it for being woke since there's a biracial couple and all the bad rapist soldiers were white. it's rare to find a good british movie, we don't get a lot of their media in the US so there's probably a lot of gems we haven't heard of, although this movie is always praised as being good, which is why i gave it a chance, because of it's reputation.

anyways i give this movie a 2.5 out of 5, it's a perfectly average movie, it didn't blow me away but it didn't suck ass it was just right in the middle.

now i'm gonna watch another movie and comment about it when i finish it, i'm trying to catch up on the list, if i watch 2 movies a day i could catch up in 10 days from now, then i can relax and just watch one a day again.

I was an emo/scene kid so of course I ate up all the zombie shit back then.
I thought 28 days later and 28 weeks later were the coolest shit back when I was a teenager, but nowadays I agree with you, it's just another fucking movie.

I remember when the game Rust had zombies in it and I was pissed when they removed it lol.

Anon i noticed Possession wasn't on that list, im assuming you've seen it. But if you haven't, you really should watch it.

that's funny man

i don't really like movies where someone is possesed by demons, i've seen too many of those and they're always the same thing. always makes me things of that episode of the boondocks where tom gets possessed by an old black guy.
i also scare easy so i tried to avoid movies that might be too scrary, i'm just not a fan of horror, jump scares and demons stuff i just don't like it that much or slashers, random gory movies don't do it for me.

i tried to watch oslo, august 31 but the subtitles weren't working.
i'm just gonna avoid danish movies they're too unknown to have reliable subtitles.

Dude, its not a conjuring or something like that, its a movie about a relationship falling apart with great acting, setting, and very psychological. Sam Neill is one of the main actors. Its so good, trust me when I say it is the best movie ever.

never heard of come and see is it good?
and should i replace a serbian film with salo? i have seen a serbian film when i was a teenager i added it to try and feel nostalgic since it was recommended by a friend i had at the time i thought it would make me remember her, feel a little nostalgic.

>>83940124
Yes, it is the best movie I've seen to date. Some of the best acting you'll see from a movie.
>>
>>83940219
i added it, hopefully it's good i'll watch it tomorrow.
>>
>>83940228
gotta be annoying having all these dudes try to slap their "kino" on your list when you already completed it at the beginning of the year
>>
>>83940277
yeah it's a little annoying.
>>
>>83940277
Im not trying to be an annoying fag telling what people they should watch. but this is a movie worth watching. And I'll recommend this gem as much as possible.

What did you learn from it? In your opinion, were they right to kill all the soldiers? Was the bloodshed worth it? Especially considering they are almost the last people alive.
>>
>>83940335
there was civilization beyond that small batch of rape soldiers and they were crazy so they had to kill them to get away from them, so it was worth killing them to survive.
>>
>>83940370
The rape brigade just wanted to breed them, not kill them. Which is a logical thing to do, considering the circumstances.
They didn't know about the rest of the world, so that's a reasonable doubt, but not a certainty.

yeah i did think the girls would be useful for repopulation, and i liked their little experiment where they were trying to see how long it would take for the zombies to starve. i was on their side for a bit, but the movie does a good job at painting them as villain and ultimately regardless of what their intentions and beliefs were they were in the wrong.

>Zombie movies
Good times. Remember watching Zombieland coming home and playing Left 4 Dead. Zombies rule.
>>
>>83940562
i got sick of them and it used to annoy me that people liked zombies.
>>
>>83939790

>>
>>83940789
Yeah I really like it and Ive seen quite a few by Has
>>
>>83940828
