If you're 24-25. please post in this thread and state your current living situation and how far you estimate you are from: >getting a full-time job>getting a gf>getting married>buying a house/ renting /moving out (whichever one is next for you)After you leave HS and University, it's pretty hard to gauge how your average peers are going, so I think this thread will be beneficial as to what can realistically be aimed for, for our age bracket. Other age brackets can post if they want to, since it's easier than making their own thread, but this thread is for the born 2000-2002 cohort.
>>8394067023yo>jobNever happening >gfNever happening >marriage Never happening >houseNever happening
>>getting a full-time jobBeen working at a plant shop for a few years, finishing a short certificate at trade school, so I'm applying widely now for helpdesk/ IT support positions. As to transition to IT work (cyber being the eventual goal).>>getting a gfRealistically, unless a lot changes it's not going to happen anytime soon.>>getting married>>buying a house/ renting /moving out (whichever one is next for you)Aiming to move out this year, if all goes well
>>83940670I'm '03 but 23 already. Tbh probably none of those things anytime soon. I've done literally nothing but LDAR since 18 and can't even drive yet. I have a brother who's 25 and he's basically just me but at least has a shitty part time dead-end job, and a drug addict gf
To be honest, I feel completely despondent, like nothing is going to improve.
>>83940670>>getting a full-time jobSoon. Next 2 years.>>getting a gfExtremely far. >>getting marriedInconceivable.>>buying a house/ renting /moving out (whichever one is next for you)About 3 years from now. 1 year after getting a full time job.
>>83940670Almost 24>getting a full-time jobDone.>buying a house/ renting /moving out (whichever one is next for you)Renting, but no roommates.>getting a gfIf you asked me last year, I would have said never. I've started working on myself a lot more and I think I can pull one next year at most.>getting marriedidk
>getting a full-time job>getting a gf>getting married>buying a house/ renting /moving out (whichever one is next for you)But I don't care about any of these, these are milestones for simpletons
>>83940670>getting a full-time jobI literally cannot even imagine the circumstances that would allow me to achieve this at this point.>getting a gfI have a bf>getting marriedDont care>buying a house/ renting /moving out (whichever one is next for you)This one doesnt feel like its happening either.
>>8394067022no job. could probably get one in a few months.no gf. not anywhere close to this oneneed to solve the gf problem before marriage lol.not close moving out. need a job first.
>31>landed a full time job in 2017, seven months after graduating>got gf in 2024 (granted, I had to geomaxx)>getting married maybe next year>bought a house in 2023I hate to say it, but it's really all luck. You need to be in the right place at the time for the stars to align. Not saying it's not possible for most people, but I acknowledge I am where I am today by the grace of God.
>>83940670You youngsters must think 25 is whole other galaxy of adulthood. You will be just as broke as your early 20s because you're paying student loans while working an entry level job out of college/uni. If it wasn't taken by ai already, and likely you're taking a pay cut at an already low starting pay because ai automated the rest of the entry level jobs in your field out. By 25 if you have a full time job in a career that pays well you are at a good place, and most aren't there. You will be paying student loans so the house will have to wait, most likely you won't have a good or anytime to find one because you will be too busy working. If you're in your early 20s I suggest carving out a niche and living life on your own terms outside of the regular goals of house, wife, good paying career. All those are gone now unless you're Chad or you're rich or your family is.
>>83940670I am 23.>job4 years cause I just started college. I was in the military prior though.>gfnever happening>getting marriedsee above>buying a house/renting/moving out4 years once I'm done with college
>>83940670>>getting a full-time jobnot even close. I have le degree but its useless and 1 year of experience that's also useless.>>getting a gfnot going to happen. Women hate me.>>getting marriednot going to happen. see above.>>buying a house/ renting /moving out (whichever one is next for you)I'd need to get a job first and even then I'd rather just live with my parents and save. Buying a house is not going to ever happen for me. Too expensive even if I saved for decades.
Slightly older than your range>getting a full-time jobHopefully this summer or after i graduate next yearish>getting a gfJust got my first one 2 months ago somehow>getting marriedcouldnt tell ya probably a few years if it works out with my femoid. We talk about getting married all the time and i like her a lot so we'll see>buying a house/ renting /moving out (whichever one is next for you)not really interested its just a waste of money. Ill keep living with my mummy until i cannot anymore, or if muh femoid wants to live together once i get a job then ill try and move out i suppose
i'm from europooria and i'll be 26 this summer>getting a full-time jobcheck, i work from home 50% of the time>getting a gfimpossible challenge with no results: 5 speed dating events in the big city, approached several women at the bus stops, swiped 100s of times on dating apps, used the 4chan dating app, /soc/ dating threads, you name it. i think i might be a pedo, so, ideally, a shorter woman with flat chest would be ideal.>getting marriedwould love to and to have children too, but good luck to anyone finding a woman these days who won't cheat, cuck and divorce rape you.>buying a house/ renting /moving out (whichever one is next for you)i rent a cheap commie block apartment. the downside is that i have to duck tape windows because it gets very cold during winter (they're still duck taped lol). financially-wise, i think im doing much better than my peers. i have 60k invested in stocks, 10k in checking account, and 1k credit card. i can't afford to buy a house but 1 or 2 bedroom apartment is very feasible right now.
>>8394067025 and no to everything there. Fuck my stupid chud life.
>>83940670This is a fucking stupid way to gauge the situation of this age group. Most of them don't use 4chan and the ones that do are fucking incel chuds
the economy is so fucked id argue the concept of unemployed and neet dont exist. there's not enough work, resources are too much to buy, and the future looks bleak af.
>>83940723Do you have a contact? You seem cute from your pic and image name
>>8394067025>getting a full-time jobI just quit my full time job, I'll be looking for a new job in a few months time>getting a gfnever>getting marriednever>buying a house/ renting /moving out I'd have to get a full time job for that and find someone to cohabit with and fuck that, living with my family may be annoying but at least I know what to expect
>>8394067024>getting a full-time jobGot part time for now>getting a gfFemale pet to fuck, dont think most women these days are worth to treat as gfs.>getting marriedIm not religious.>buying a house/ renting /moving outMaybe. I dont have issues with my family and living alone sounds lonely.
