I got a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering then a masters in computer science. I wanted to make cool robots and work with AI, but I couldn't get any of those jobs so I worked for a boring tech company and that made me want to kill myself after a few years. Now I work a job completely unrelated to engineering or software and I'm a lot happier.
