Femanons, tell me what you think of this imaginary scenario. Let's say youre in a new country without many friends. You dont speak the language well which makes it hard to connect to people. You make a friend who makes an effort to understand you and help you learn the language better. You bond and become close. Let's say you are attracted to him but do not act on it. A year later that friend becomes very attracted to you. There are reasons that wont be explained why you cant be together romantically. How would you feel about this? Would you want him to leave you alone? Is it worse to keep him around? If he was suffering internally would you want him to go away?
