If you got $1,100 a month no matter what, could you live a comfy loner NEET life by moving to some country or something?
>>84006769I asked Grok. The answer is basically no if you're accustomed to American-level everyday luxury life.
Even in the middle of nowhere in a cheap place like Kentucky, rent is still going to run you $800 a month. You could go cheaper than that by doing some bullshit like getting a roommate to share your one bedroom apartment with or renting a single closet somewhere, but you can't be a loner doing that. $300 to cover everything else for the month is nothing and you will probably find yourself having to choose between having power, water or food for the month. You could save money here by eating food out of the garbage can. Is it possible? Yes. Comfy? No, absolutely not. You'd have to move to southeast asia or the balkans or similar to live a life of relative comfort on that income.
>>84006769the rent is too damn high tbqh
>>84006796dang that sucks. looks like the NEETcuck is going to have to suck some dick!
>>84006769thats not even 1/4th of my mortgage
>>84007047This is why I'm not even gonna move out of my parents' house at this point. It'll take me longer to pay off a mortgage than they have years left to live. It's honestly so fucking demoralizing. I just wanted to have my own house at least and now that's just not going to happen. I don't even know why I bother going to work anymore.
>>84006858I lucked out and got a good rate on my mortgage but $1100 is too little. $700 mortgage$200 electricity$40 water$27.50 trash$150 various subscriptions (gym, phone, hbo, etc)$290 car payment$300 car insurance
>>84006769Yes it's called geoarbitrage and lots of old retired dudes do it, primarily in Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, etc.Look up Vagabond Buddha on Google he covers dozens of places and interviews expats on this budget
