Day 55 of attempting to watch a movie every day from a list of movies i compiled last year from /r9k/ /tv/ and tiktok.>list can be found herehttps://letterboxd.com/negamoth/list/2026-one-movie-a-day-list/>previous thread>>83999478Today's movie was HeathersThe movie barely had anything to do with the heathers, instead it was strangely about murders covered up to look like suicides. People sure were cheesy back in the 80s, with all the clice shit. I think this movie was part of some "emo movie recommendations" maybe because of all the talk about teenage suicide, other than that it's not very emo, well maybe a little bit. Anyways i enjoyed the movie, it made me laugh a few times, it wasn't too bad. I wonder what the deal was with movies back in the day and cow tipping, why the fuck was that a thing? it had us all convinced that shit was real, turns out cows are too heavy to be tipped by humans, it's just not happening, so why the hell did movie jews insist on adding that in movies i wonder.i'd rate this movie a 2 out of 5i still have like 8 movie to watch, i'll be watching some tonight and posting about em.
>>84006776Do you torrent these?
>>84007097yeah, but if i can't get one, i go to one of those websites where you can stream pretty much any movie, the problem with streaming is that they sometimes randomly drop from 1080p to 370 but the perk is that they have old movies that can't be torrented.
>>84007113From the ones you've seen so far which one left an imprint the most?
>>84006776I thought Heathers was cool when I was younger, but now that I'm older I can see it wasn't great. I think it was pretty much an excuse to put Winona Ryder and Christian Slater on screen together. They were both at the peak of their careers and were huge audience draws.
>>84007299zardoz maybe, it's the only one i've rated a 5 out of 5. it's really ambitious, they did the most they could with what they had to tell a story that kind of demands a lot to be told and there doesn't seem to be anyone alive now who could make something as imaginative. it's just a cool premise for a movie that the modern brain could never concoct, mainly because sci fi now a days is too concerned with getting the stars right or something retarded like that to experiment and lean into the fantasy side of sci fi, it's all science now and that's homosexual.
>>84007318winona was pretty hot and the dude looked cool, i think if i were a kid i would have liked the movie more too.
>>84006776Did you ever watch Moon or The Signal?
>>84007721i've seen moon, but i've never seeen the signal
>>84006776when i get more time on my hands i'll have movies going 24/7. that's again when i have fucking time on my hands
>>84007747good luck getting some time anon.
