DO you really need TRT to go to the next stage? im on my 2nd year of lifting, i started at age 35, im 37 now and this is where my body is at currently, i thought just consistently going to the gym will fix this but nope. The best i looked was 6 months ago when i decided to cut, i got ripped but it wasnt sustainable, i was too skinny. and i needed to eat more, after 3-4 months of cutting i let go and began to eat a normal diet.Should i try roids?
Might as well, youre almost 40. Test is probably low as fuck and I doubt youre gonna want kids at this stage anyway. when you start balding rapidly it wont be that big of a deal since youre old. Jesus imagine looking like this after years of lifting though, either this dude seriously has a shit diet or he is lying about the consistency.
Idk what your programming looks like not am I an expert on the matter, so I suggest taking this to >>>/fit/. Also I think you just have poor genetics for building muscle. Sorry anon, some people have it and others don't. The guys that respond well to PEDs are the ones with elite genetics.
Well, it's not all about testosterone levels, some people are just low responders to lifting, up to 15% of the population IIRC. If you are sure you have been pushing yourself in the gym, upping the weights, increasing reps, and eating enough protein (100g+) each day then sure, try TRT for 6 months. But it might just be poor responding genetics and lazy lifting causing this.
>>84008245i have not pushed myself to the limit, ill be honest, i am afraid of injury, my first 6 months in the gym i tore my shoulder from bench pressing so i slowed down, i do casual workouts. but i am consistent in the gym, i take 4-6 weeks off after every 3 months so i can reset myself.I am very afraid of fucking up and tearing some muscle that makes me disabled desu I have a good strength level now tho, which is good for me compared to how weak i was when i started
If you start TRT you most likely have to take it for life, because at your age natty producton won't bounce back after lets say 1 year TRT.
>>84008445Not really true, evidence for this is sketchy.
>>84008213If you intend to date younger women I must warn you that going on TRT is going to facially age you.Being thin is better for mass appeal than being muscular. You are attracting guys with muscles, not most girls. Being real here.
>>84008461To clarify: I am not saying that you should stop going to gym, though. I am just saying that adding mass will not make you any bit more attractive to women.
>>84008213you should accept that humans don't have naturally well defined muscles
>>84008213If you take TRT your balls will eventually shrink and you will become infertile. Additionally the exogenous testosterone will stop your body from producing it's own testosterone and so you will be dependant on TRT for life.
>>84008461Nah, Ive been on test for a couple of years now. I look pretty similar to what I did before outside normal late 20s aging. It does cause you to retain water, my forehead and cheeks tend to get a bit watery but it's not super noticeable>>84008213Most people don't work out hard enough. Work out til failure, every single time. The "science based lifters" are fucking nerds and give people an excuse to slack off because they don't know what failure is, and end up going about 50 percent as hard as they should beIf you're in your 30s and you want actual results, do 500mg of test a week and keep some aromasin. If you start getting high estrogen symptoms, use the aromasin and cut down your test levels until you can get a basis of what your body can tolerate. It also depends on your body fat level. I can put up with 300-400mg of test without aromasin if I stay lean, but if I'm fat I can barely do 200.Do not use nandrolone or any 19nor derivative, they are unnecessary and damaging. I also find that DHT derivatives make me shed hair like nothing else, but most people don't have that issue
>>84008637Nah, you can get off TRT after years and still recover to your natty levels with a 98-99% success rate. Also TRT won't face age you unless you go high doses (i.e not TRT), or have some weird prior hormonal issue.
>>84008213What's your squat/bench/deadlift?After a year lifting I have 93kg 3x5 bench (started with just the bar), 140kg 3x5 squat (started with the bars and two 10s), 170kg 3x5 deadlift (started with the bar and two 20s) and am starting to look like I lift. This level of progress is actually kinda shit too since I had to take 2 months off halfway through the year to deal with some medical issues. I started at 70KG, went up to 78, then cut back down to 68 and have bulked again to 78 in that first year period.https://strengthlevel.com/strength-standardsGo to the link above and check how your lifts stack up against the standards listed under each lift category. Bear in mind they're 1RMs, so work out how much your 3/5/8/10/whatever RM would be as a 1RM to compare. If you aren't at at least intermediate level after 2 years of lifting you don't need to hop on gear, you need to hop under the bar and start lifting heavier. If your lifts aren't listed on that site at all, you need to ditch the machines and start doing some good core compound lifts. Don't pay attention your physique much, it takes time to see progress and it'll just be demotivating with how slow you change physically. Pay attention only to the amount of weight on the bar and let your shirts not fitting anymore be the surprise you get after you make good progress.
>>84009143You are above average in training response with regard to strength.
