What makes video games any less acceptable than other forms of media? Wouldn't you say it depends on what games you're playing, much like it depends on what books, movies, shows, and music you're consuming? What makes them less acceptable than watching sports, which most men watch until their dying day, and are often obsessed about to an unhealthy, violent degree? Video games are far more active than sitting on a couch and watching other people play.
