Doomscrolling or gaming. The parents are working 24/7 or are knocked out drunk or are also gaming to escape reality, lets face it, reality is sick.

They should make the wealthy people reproduce and have 20 children minimum and poor people should be given checks to reproduce.

I really hope I reincarnate as either a gigachad or literally any woman when I rope soon enough, but ngl seeing how braindead Gen Z, A and B will most likely are, it's kinda making me think millenials are the last intellectual generation. God, mellenial women must have it so good.

Which is better to be bros, an illiterate Gen A but you're a woman so still have life on easy, or a mellenial guy suicidally depressed and malding that he was not born a woman in the objectively best time to be one?
>>
>>84011582
if you think of life in terms of how much you can receive, than being a woman seems great. If you think about it in terms of how much you can give, being a man is better hands down.

They can probably read on a basic level but they can't comprehend anything more complicated, infer meaning and pick out essential information etc. Like in English class when you would have to read a passage and answer questions about it.

The wealthy don't want to reproduce, despite parenthood being the easiest for them. Money takes time to maintain. Very few rich people can sit around and have so much passive income that they can just sit here and earn a normie's yearly salary. There were cartoons about this. The mega wealthy parents who have no time for their child because they were always so busy. Picrel was only truly happy when his parents lost all their money and ended up on a stranded island where they could finally start paying him attention

I don't care either way. Life is just too hard as a man, with not enough promised rewards. Women just look like they're enjoying life so much more. Even fembots can come on here and immediately get showered with attention and love. Where's mine? Oh that's right, I was born with penis, meaning I have no inherent value

And when I correct people on youtube they get mad.
Once I left a comment saying people get mad when I correct them, and people still got mad at the thought of me correcting them lol.

Its the influx of immigrants having kids that don't priortize learning english.

Came here to say this. The math literacy is down too ig.

Teachers' unions in the US attempt to block any improvements to teaching methods because it means the teachers (women) have to actually work instead of scrolling tiktok all day. The so called, "southern surge" in states like Louisiana and Mississippi is in part because they're forcing their teachers to their jobs, and sometimes hold back students instead of passing them through the system with poor fundamentals the entire time.
>>
>>84011712
yeah, typical. I was moreso answering his question "what are they doing" which doesn't really apply, it kinda does, but the answer for the immigrants is "everything but learning english".
>>
25% of adults in the US are illiterate. The entire concept of literacy is 100% White culture. Racists don't realize how insane fourth grade reading level is. Unless you go out of your way looking for it real life doesn't really involve written words. Picrel is you.

Can we stop pretending it's the result of "poor education" ? It's only ever browns that seem to be forever hobbled by "poor education", and it's always the fault of all the rayciss white people around them.

They learned common core reading, and as a result they're illiterate. There's an entire generation of Americans who can't spell or sound out words because some "academic" decided to fix something that wasn't broken.

Intellect (aside from remembering how to start a fire or make an arrowhead) was useless to most of these people prior to colonization. Now we expect tribes who were shooting monkeys with arrows 300 years ago to read, write, solve math equations, and indulge in the abstract which they haven't seen from 180000 BC to present.

If the colonial powers started educating the browns in the 17th century they might be caught up somewhat, but they didn't. They're at a 300-500 AD level of education and thought, and we keep pretending everyone's magically equal and throwing money at the "problem".

All this while we're entering an AI technocracy with fewer than 1% of the population able to maintain and contribute toward it. Something's going to give.

I would highly recommend listening to the podcast Sold a Story if you want to understand why the state of literacy is so shockingly bad in the US.
The short version is a lady from New Zealand observed the techniques that bad readers use to cheese their way through reading things, assumed that's how everyone learned to read, and then somehow duped the US into teaching that instead of phonics.
