I used to use this website a lot between 2011-2022. Over the years it became unbearable. How stupid the majority consensus on this website was. It's a refuge for sexless, christian indoctrinated incels.I used to find quality human connection on this site... what was once a nice, fun, comfy site dedicated to talking about anime and manga. Slowly became a refuge for the dregs of this earth. The men who slowly became disillusioned with society, due to the sexlessness of their christian authoritarian upbringing. Hating women, gays, minorities. Since it's what their mommy dearest and abusive alcoholic dad did. While preaching the false gospel. They found sanctuary in the anonymous website that occasionally made edgy jokes. It reinforced their already anti-social upbringing. I stopped using this site in 2022 around there because it became a cesspit of do-nothing, eternally online trolls. who had nothing better to do than post a wojak in response to even talking about anime, on the website founded for anime... being an oldfag became a tenuous experience. What was once a fun site for loner anime fans to gather divulged into the shitty unusable chud site we see today. I would do anything to go back to 2013 4chan where you could actually enjoy things without a deranged cult of sexless lunatic anti social shitposter who find refuge in posting mspain images crying about transexuals and brown people in video games.
I dated a girl from my country's imageboard also had several e-friendships with anons. Definitely a waste of time. I mean, some of them are good people, but it never goes anywhere. My ex was self-destructive and deceptive, but it's common among chan girls. And now that imageboard culture is kinda mainstream you don't need to treat that shit like a secret club, like people from here are so special that you should bond with them just because they share that culture with you. When I was teen I fell for that bait, but nowadays I have no interest in meeting anyone from here.
