People on this board don't understand there are tradeoffs to being desirable.It's not the perfect life you think it is.In reality people have prejudice towards desirable people the same way they do towards undesirable people.It's kind of like the difference between a panda and a polar bearYes the Panda is utterly incompetent. He's a complete buffoon. He literally cannot breed. And yet his life is comfortable. He lazes around eating bamboo all day frolicking through the jungle. Everybody is friendly towards him because they're not intimidated at all. He'll blissfully go extinct in the lap of luxury.The polar bear by contrast is the exact opposite. He is big, strong. But he is also alone. He lives in the harshest most barren lonely environment on the planet. People exploit his world for their own gain. He isn't strong by choice. He has to be strong to survive. Nobody wants to get anywhere near him. He's intimidating, dangerous.You think you want to be the polar bear but is it really a better life than the Panda?

Honestly the polar bear's evolutionary strat is dumber than the panda, it lives in a barren hellscape made of ice and is fucked when it melts and has his ass kicked contantly by walruses. The panda lives in a forest literally surrounded by its food source, it just got unlucky by the fact China happened to be one of the most industrialized places on earth and deforested a ton.
