i'm 20f 5'6 and white and people cross street when they see me. why do you suppose this happens? i also get followed around in stores. it makes me feel really self conscious. i don't think i dress oddly but i might look kind of disheveled sometimes, especially when i'm walking home from work and my clothes are dirty. am i just that ugly?

Not trying to attack you, but that's the most plausible explanation I can think of. Perhaps you look homeless or somehow criminal. It's not likely that your ugliness, whether you are or not, is causing the issue. More likely it's your clothing or demeanor. I suggest just ignoring people. They don't matter. I ignore everyone and going outside doesn't bother me.
