My parents screwed me over so badly.When I was a baby, my dad would purposely starve me because he thought I was too fat and ate too much, not knowing that this would stunt my growth and overall development. It was bad enough that I was often the shortest kid in school and even shorter than the girls. And it wasn't any better with my mom, she would feed me low-nutrition food and placed me on a vegan. I was so malnourished growing up that I developed telogen effluvium, which is basically when your hair starts to fall out everywhere. My nails were brittle and there were times when it would just fall off from running around or kicking a soccer ball.Things got better as I grew older as I began to have more control over my diet. Most of the issues relating to being malnourished are gone now, but I never really fully recovered from it. I've been underweight my whole life and gaining weight is a struggle.It angers me so much whenever I hear my mom criticize me for eating too much meat and not enough vegetables or my dad complaining about why I'm so short, not knowing that they caused all of this. They refuse to take any responsibilities for what they did and believe that it's all my fault for the way I ended up.

Parents that actively avoid reality to place the blame on you for something that was never in your control to start with are not good parents. You'd be much better without them in your life, if I were in your position i'd surreptitiously try to kill them and get away with it. At least that way you'd inherit a nice chunk while also ending their emotional abuse forever. If you can't kill them due to morals or whatever, you should at the very least cut them out of your life. Them being in your life will ensure you're always miserable.
