I outgrew debating over measurement units a while ago anyway, I learned to kind of eyeball imperial units after having worked in a factory years ago. It was a good job I wish I still had.

For human outdoor temperature usage, absolutely. The difference in a few degrees from 32-80 degrees makes a difference, where for celcius jumping 1 degree at a time can be huge differences
