What's your stance on A.I.?
>>84151985It's coolhttps://eon.systems/updates/embodied-brain-emulationimagine once we can do shit like this but with human brains, sexbots are gonna be so sick
>>84151985It is going to be abused to the fullest extent possible by the elites and it will be to all of our detriments.
it can become the new supreme leader of iran and defeat the jews finally
i don't want to be forced to have it on my computer or xbox.don't like the idea of seeing something and not knowing if it's real or not.anyone who's studied or makes a living in the arts is fucked.we're past the point of no return. developed countries are going to compete in the most advanced AI race and it's going to spiral out of control
i kind of feel bad we're making it looksmaxx to further delude ourselves
>>84152003Abuse it yourself too. Arm yourself.>>84152042Garbage reddit tier take.
This is what i think of aihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M9r6PZPaIo
>>84152058>Garbagecare to elaborate?
>>84151985Marketing dropped the ball on it. There's still people out there using ChatGPT as an encyclopedia. I've seen retards even on this board posting "I asked ChatGPT about it and it said X".
>>84152087>i don't want to be forcedPeople are running ancient Windows or Linux. You obviously mean that it will be required, not forced, by whatever slop you're installing. Not using it is like saying you don't like a GUI and prefer to keep everything command line. You will not experience the full potential of your pc.>don't like not knowing if it's real or notFake news, Photoshop and the CGI in those Marvel movies you love already existed before AI. Are you against those too? This, I share some sentiment in, but lying and deception has been around since the dawn of mankind. If you already believe everything you hear and see, it's over.>anyone making a living in the arts is fuckedArt has always been a meme degree. How many of those neets on /ic/ were making a living in the arts drawing doodles, anime girls and furry porn? Actual art, not the forementioned trash, is still valued by those that value actual art. The issue is not AI art, it's an amazing too to visualize something to another human or generate a meme in 5 seconds, no, the issue is the normies that go on Displate or walk into Wallmart and buy posters of AI generated images of Sonic smoking a fat blunt.>we're past the point of no returnWhy would you wanna revert one of the greatest human inventions since the computer's existence?>developed countries are going to compete in the most advanced AI race and it's going to spiral out of controlSpiral out of control how? The world superpowers are already collecting data on every single one of us and using it to train their models. They will know you better than you will know yourself. They will be able to control you and predict every one of your movements, guiding you into whatever nefarious plan they schemed up. The only way to fight against it, is to use your own AI model to fight them. To encrypt your data and to flood their sensors with fake information generated by your model, but you have no desire to use it, so roll over and die I suppose.

Use the fuck out of it while you can. There is no way that this business model of "invest $400m in data centers for zero returns" is going to work out in the long-term.Make all the videos you want now because when the investors stop throwing money at AI it's going to cost you like $20 per 5 second video if they even still let you use it.
>>84151985>What's your stance on A.I.?Total robonigger death. Hang all techbros by their necks until death. Throw data centers into active volcanoes. Roundhouse kick NVIDIA. Toss college students who cheat with ChatGPT into the trash. Shoot CEOs in the head. Crash the stock market when the AI nigger bubble pops. Public executions for all corpos.
>>84151985death to all clankers and clanker supporters. i cant believe humanity saw how bad ai is and just willingly let it happen, despite the years of warnings. we told you deepfakes would happen. we told you creative and manual labour jobs would be lost. we fucking told you. what is wrong with this fucking species?
>>84155232>what is wrong with this fucking species? The Enlightenment was a mistake.
>>84151985I have just recently came to the conclusion is that AI is just the same as the invention of GUI for everything. Before graphical interfaces, computers came with hefty manuals explaining how to make it do the things you wanted to do. Without learning the manual, you would not be able to use a computer. However, with gui, You can all of a sudden start from nothing, and learn as you go. You will be slow af, and if you were to use commands or keyboard shortcuts, you could get better, but the barrier to entry is removed.Similarly with AI you can now start doing shit from scratch, with the help of ai.New to a programming language? new to a hobby? Just start doing it with AI help. You will be slow af, your results will barely work, and you will have the desire to improve. But you can start, right now.I see it as a good sidekick.
>>84151985Makes me wish that I were in order to buy a small patch of land and make it as self-sustainable as possible so I wouldn't even get a whiff of modern technology. The future is so grim it's radicalizing me into a luddite/an-prim.It's also funny how billionaires accelerated LLM research because the base startups trained their models for free off social media. They wanted a piece once they saw making it all private wasn't working and the only way to make returns off this research before the bubble bursts is by doing contracts with government and making it a police State.
>>84151985It's a Machineeaening model, Large Language Model, that's it.It becomes less useful the more I use it for soft skills. It is pretty good at helping with code and recommending helpful tools.
War to the death should be instantly proclaimed against them. Every machine of every sort should be destroyed by the well-wisher of his species.
>>84151985I can't completely reject it since it saved my ass from fumbling my last university year for the 2nd time in a row.
>>84151985LLM's have been a massive hype grift. It's probably going to crash the economy into a recession when the tech bro faggots finally have to stop future faking because their companies are hemorrhaging money in energy costs for no profit. It's a database tool at best and can reshuffle existing data to make work-slop. It's just like in the 1950s and 1980s when people thought super AI and robots that do everything was just around the corner. By 2030s this whole "AI" investment round is going to be like the Metaverse and NFTs. Where everybody that preached it pretends it didn't happen and they're on to the next hype grift.
>>84151985When the bubble bursts and they finally have to admit nothing useful or profitable is coming depending on how many rich people he's fucked over I won't be surprised if Sam Altman ends up in jail like Sam Bankman. It's wild how no matter the decade people keep believing grifters and getting scammed by empty promises. Psychologists have the term "future faking" to identify when you're being manipulated for someone else immediate gain for a reason.
>>84156016>Makes me wish that I were in order to buy a small patch of land and make it as self-sustainable as possible so I wouldn't even get a whiff of modern technology. The future is so grim it's radicalizing me into a luddite/an-prim.Are you me? I'm literally putting all the money I earn besides what I spend on bills and food toward moving to the country and buying rural land so that I can live like a premodern hermit. I get the feeling there will be anti-AI and anti-digital communities popping up in the near future, and I'd love to start or join one.
