Catalog sucks. Which way robot?
>>84153340I think the road eternal for me
the way that doesn't require me reading a whole fucking book to respond to your post
>>84153348Sounds the most fun to me too. Eternal discovery of the world. I expect most robots to pick the Fisher King.
>>84153363The rest bring too much emotional pain
Pretty hard choice. Not sure I want eternal life but that rapid aging sounds horrible too. Fisher King can VR through the golems to experience the outside world and talk to people. That could be a less tiring alternative to the Road Eternal. Also respawning could be fun for a while. Can you abandon your position in Dominion? Although people could recognize you and that might continue the paranoia. I can't decide.
>>84153340Road Eternal, it doesn't say you can't return to the same area ever again so you could just travel in a loop if you wanted to see people you leave behind again.Nakama sounded pretty great until you get to the last bullet point, and then it turns into horror. That last life would be pure agony.
>>84153340fisher king with zero doubt honestly
>>84153340dominion. No bliss remains for the eternal. Rather than living eternally, having a slight chance to play sandbox sounds crazy fun. Also, you can lock up those 12 in eternal hell if you play the game well
>>84153340none, where is the snowy mountain area
>Road EternalEasily the best option relating to immortality if you have any interest in the world. You have the potential to see infinite stuff and meet infinite people, and there's nothing that says you can't circle back and meet the same people again, or bring them on your journey with you. You're basically an eternal adventurer, and don't have to worry about the woes of life or work, just focusing on discovery and adventure. The downside is the difficulty of forming long-term bonds.>Fisher KingStill a not awful of eternal life. Once again you are free from the woes of life and do have the ability to send out your golems, or leave, if only for a few days at a time, to see the rest of the world. It would be easier to form bonds with others but you would still linger while they faded away. This version of immortality seems like it would lead to boredom and depression much faster than Road Eternal though. You can only spend so much time anywhere before it becomes your own personal hell.>NakamaThis one is really interesting. Its basically getting twelve lives that are pretty much the pinnacle of the normal human experience and one final life with your memories. I think this one is a solid contender for best choice, because in all three other options you're some kind of special individual, and will be isolated because of that, but here you have friends. I don't think the last life would necessarily be totally depressing, you'd still have your pet, and the ability to look back fondly on your memories, having lived 12 lives that most people could only dream of.>DominionThis is the only choice with a built in objective, which makes it appealing by giving the eternal life a purpose, but also has the highest chance of blowing up in your face. I think this one would be the most isolating and lonely but some people might see the appeal. It seems like a worse version of Road Eternal to me.I would choose Road Eternal personally.
>>84153340Dominion is the only one without any major downsides, but the life in it is the most challenging one, but given your abilities it should be a piece of cakeAltho fisher king's downsides are easily reversible compared to others and has the easiest lifestyle compared to the possible benefit. So fisher king for me
>>84153340Fisher KingInvincible, immortal, can do stupid stuff in my private magic house.Infinite food, infinite technology, infinite free time. Yes please.I'll spend 100 years backing up the internet in case humanity dies while I'm in my magic house and then just surf all the sites and threads I missed. Also I can play the entire Steam library. Shit, now I want to be immortal.
Fisher king is too good. You shouldn't have added that ability to invite people into the house since that removes any downsides for people who can't be alone.
>>84153340Nakama. Road Eternal feels like there's no purpose. I'm just not the type of person that could do it. Fisher King seems even worse. You're just eternally seeking pleasures in the tower. Dominion doesn't work for me either. I'm not the type of person to care about that. So it has to be Nakama. 12 enjoyable lives where the 13th you get to reminiscence seems nice.
>>84153340Your thread gave me the idea to have AI make me something that locally converts an image to text, pipes the text into a TTS engine, then spits out an audio file that I can upload to vocaroo.I added a gui to section the image text up so I could easily use different voices for different sections. Then I used a local model to do context aware spelling correction to fix errors in the image to text process as well as format it to help with pauses etc. It does change the wording sometimes and I think it cut an entire sentence off but I'm too lazy to tweak the prompt it's being fed.It must have taken me about 3 hours. It would have been quicker if I'd gone straight to using a local model for spelling correction instead of working on a manual process. But now it takes about 2 minutes to turn any wordy image into an audio file. Here's the end result. It's not perfect but it's pretty good and I had fun making it: https://vocaroo.com/11sPeY80G2VM
Fisher King ez. Grow a wall/gatehouses complex around a huge plot of land and the garden/courtyard becomes a new eden. Not sure I understand the constraints on maximum dimensions but I guess we've got width maxed out to the size of the property. The gatehouses are connected by the wall, allowing passage between by either walking the top of the wall or through the corridors that run the inside of the wall. Wall will have sub wall extending to the core of the earth to maximize subterranean depth. To not be cucked out of maximum height down the road the narrowest structure to maximum height is placed on top of the northernmost gate.Next part of planning needs clarification. Can you fuck the golems?
I'm basically living dominion already
>>84153340Fisher KingIt would be nice to be in a complete bubble from the outside economy. I never had any travel plans anyway
>>84153843You could settle your fisher king house in snowy mountains
>>84154295I skipped to the middle of it and thought it was a troll post since I heard clapping
>>84155418Lol I think vocaroo doesn't like the format. It was a .wav file, maybe I should have put it through ffmpeg to convert it to mp3.
