>>84154993Other varieties like the Yoshino make it to 40. I think wildcherry trees can live to 80-100 under ideal conditions. Kanzan are th prettiest, but shortest-lived. Fruit trees do tend to need pruning to fight off disease. Their wood and bark arent as strong as oak or hickory. Tougher trees tend to be longer-lived. You can dent the cherry bark with a fingernail.
