I guess I shouldn't have been that surprised because a couple weeks before that there was an online deal I got as an order to go and the place was practically empty. They can't even get people in the doors by giving away free food. It's over. If chains are doing this poorly I can't imagine how mom n pop shops are doing. The chains are probably hemorrhaging money but can afford to stay open with loans and investment capital.
