Man you ever notice life does not come at you all at once it sneaks up on you like your tio at a barbecue who says he is just gonna sit down for a minute and next thing you know he is asleep snoring with a plate still in his hand and somehow nobody questions it because that is just what we do we accept things we should not accept like how your mom can find anything in the house except the thing you are actually looking for you say where are my shoes she says did you check your room yeah I checked everywhere and then she walks in and finds them in two seconds and now you look stupid in your own houseThen you get older and now you are the one saying back in my day and your knees sound like a bag of chips every time you stand up and nobody warned you about that you just have to act like yeah that is normal that is just my body talkingBills come in like they are invited but money leaves like it heard something it did not like your paycheck shows up sees rent groceries everything and just disappears and now you are working all week wondering how you still owe everybody moneyAnd relationships start cute everything is funny then later the same stuff is a problem the same fork that made you laugh now starts an argument and you are like what changed and the answer is everythingBut no matter how crazy life gets there is one thing that never changes you go home and somebody asks did you eat you say yeah and they say what did you eat like it is an investigationThat is when you realize life is complicated but in your family the hardest part is not surviving life it is surviving the questions after dinner

i notice the identities we make around the narratives we use to cope with our life experience. the ways in which they hold us back, or push us forwards. i think it's interesting, watching people fall back onto unexpected old personalities, as though it was once a trusted tool in their arsenal to get through life. it's rough when you can't see anything else for yourself, other than that though, that you think this is it, so you fully commit to indulging in that personality, despite the blaring flaws. i think that's why roleplaying is nice, you get to open the dresser and try on new outfits, new styles and realize more of what you could be, outside of that person you've been boxed into now. even travelling does something like that, you get to see the different roles others play, and how you get exposed to new ways of thinking and living. staying stuck as one person leaves you with no room to spread your roots, and grow

Sorry if you are "coming of age" so to speak. It's unfortunate that you may have to pay a rent or mortgage instead of inheriting a home and investing in your family. But you sound like if you are 70 IQ and you unironically should be stripped of your voting rights. I hate having to share the space with people like you. You sound so fucking retarded.
