Is it safe to eat the maggots with fermented meat?
>>
>>84177521
how much would that cost to buy
>>
>>84177579
$20-$25
i would guess
im not op
>>
>>84177579
It was $20. The steak was on sale. All steaks are a scam but I really like raw beef and the convenience of a steak portion
>>
>>84177561
Yes. Lots of people have eaten maggots that predigested their raw meat. They say the maggots just taste like the raw meat they put in the jar. I've fermented raw meat a few times but never saw maggots in mine
>>
>>84178026
what does raw meat taste like
>>
>>84178095
It's like cooked meat but better in every way. Some people eat raw meat with seasonings, herbs, sauces, and so on. I just eat plain raw meat with one hand and pasteurized unsalted butter with the other hand. Sometimes I pour a tiny amount of unheated honey into my mouth

Everything about raw meat is better than cooked meat. I'm mostly concerned with maximizing my health, so the most important parts for me are the superior nutrition and digestion of raw meat
>>
this shit is weird as fuck.
why do you have to share your dumb diet
>>
>>84178095
A lot like raw fish. I wouldn't recommend eating a regular steak from the store raw, but if you ever get the opportunity to order some steak tartare at a restaurant, it's really good. In Europe they sell specially prepared raw meat that's safer to eat raw.
>>
>>84178611
that isn't true though, cooked meat takes less energy to digest. you're making it harder on your body, taking longer to digest. the gut biome gets more food and leads to more problems because of it.
>>
>>84177521
Just cook it bro
>>
>>84178637
You've never eaten raw meat and you know absolutely nothing about this subject. Every single raw meat eater remarks that raw meat feels weightless in their digestive tract. High heat destroys nutrients and causes nutrients to leave the food. You see it with your own eyes every time you cook a piece of meat. The meat shrinks as water and fat leave it. Guess where the meat's water-soluble vitamins and fat-soluble vitamins are stored? Enzymes and water-soluble vitamins are especially fragile when it comes to heat exposure.
>>
>>84178712
Dude, water evaporating out of cooked meat is nothing compared to the energy that you need to put INTO digesting raw meat.
anecdotes don't mean anything, either, as that "weightless" feeling could be from any money of factors, including eating less food or consuming less cooking oil.

I don't need to eat raw meat to scrape the bare minimum of food science.

If you like it and it works for you, that's awesome, but just quit this silly larp.
>>
>>84178816
Are all nutrients just "energy" to you? You know even less than I previously thought
>larp
I've eaten raw meat and/or eggs every day for over 3 years and my health improved dramatically as a direct result of that. No amount of words on a screen will change the reality that raw meat is the healthiest food

I've eaten a few before. I ordered 7 raw lamb hearts a few days ago. They should be arriving tomorrow. I also ordered goat testicles, rabbit liver, beef suet, and lamb suet

i thought you had a farm or something
i've tried raw meat but it's just so watery and the texture was awful too i couldnt even chew it properly
i dont relaly have access to quality meat i guess i'm kind of inspired to try it again

where
>>
>>84178856
the larp is acting like raw meat is better. like I said, I'm glad this diet works for you, but I'm almost positive that all the changes you made around how you prepare your meat made a bigger impact. like, you're just eating better because you're paying attention and taking it seriously.
>>
>>84179094
>preparing
I went from cooked meat with butter to raw meat with butter. The difference is the superior nutrition and lesser toxicity of raw meat. It's not a matter of meat quality either because most of the raw meat I've eaten has been the cheapest raw pork loin available at Walmart ($1.87 per pound). Most of my health improvements came while eating that raw pork in the first year. What does "paying attention and taking it seriously" mean? I was already trying hard to improve my health and cover all bases before I ever ate raw meat. I would consider that "paying attention and taking it seriously". All my research and personal experiences eventually lead me to raw meat. I would progress to the next best thing if it existed, but currently I have no reason to believe there's anything better.
>>
>>84179067
I wish I had a farm. You dislike the texture because you've been eating sabotaged meat your entire life. You've come to expect dryness, as well as a tough and bitter-tasting exterior. It's entirely a mental problem and I don't know how you can get past it other than having more exposure to raw meat and changing how you think about raw meat. I never had a problem with the texture or juicy nature of raw meat. It always felt totally natural and good to me, even when I first started eating raw meat.

>raw meat and/or eggs every day
I thought you're meant to cook the white but leave the yolk runny. I wanna fully commit to a raw primal diet.
>>
>>84180245
If you want to do the Primal Diet you have to read Aajonus Vonderplanitz's books. I don't follow the Primal Diet. A lot of newcomers are under the impression that it's just a raw carnivore diet, but he heavily advocated for the consumption of raw vegetable juices, whole fruit, and unheated honey alongside raw animal products. You can read every text that Aajonus ever published, as well as transcribed audio from all known recordings of him at aajonus.net. There's a search bar if you want to find anything specific. A few things were transcribed poorly the last time I checked. There's also a telegram group for the Primal Diet which has some good information

>raw pork
In my country, we have a belief that if we eat raw meat, especially pork, we will contract a disease.
I also have this belief; I will never eat raw meat.
>>
>>84180308
>aajonus.net
That sounds interesting, I'll save that link in my link organizer to read later.
>>
>>84180320
It is indeed a belief. Raw meat reversed my diseases. If you want to eat cooked meat, it will be better for you than any other cooked food.
>>
>>84177521
I'm sure you have a very shiny coat, such a good boy you want to go for walkies?
>>
>>84180206
any tips on sourcing or what type of meat to start with?
