Why did boomers have such a problem with millennials liking avocado toast?
>>
>>84212346
There is nothing wrong with avocado toast but I think people more make fun of the millennial tendency to blow everything out of proportion and make a massive big deal over something thats mediocre

Millennials exaggerate their TV shows like Rick and Morty or Bojack Horseman like they're the best fucking thing ever when their decent at best

.they do this with fucking everything
They can't just enjoy something on a normal level, they have to act like it's some mind blowing thing when it never is

I have never seen a fucking Avocado in my life.
>>
>>84212401
everything seems meaningless and shit and there's nothing to care about anymore and the reasons why things are like they are are so general and depressing that no functioning member of society can accept them
people have to pretend

>Waaa waaa college costs money!
>Waaa waaa I cannot afford a house at 25!
>Waaa waaa I want to spend all my money on fancy takeout!

Millennials are so entitled and whiny. If you are paying $25 for breakfast, $10 for coffee, and $30 for lunch then you are spending all your paycheck on food. Whiny babies.
>>
>>84212346
they used to be more expansive
>>
Maybe you could afford a home like I did if you didn't put 75 cent avocado on a slice of bread every morning. How much could a house be these days? 50k?
>>
Boomers remember when a bottle of coke was $0.05 and a part time grocery bagger could buy a house, two cars, and support a stay at home wife with five children. Avocados taste bad so it became a meme because some people actually are stupid enough to buy them. Objectively speaking a dollar is a lot to pay for something that isn't the least bit enjoyable. The math doesn't quite work out so boomers are only accidentally right for the wrong reason.
And it's also the boomers fault. They stole the country's wealth and gave it to jews, effectively banned superior food like lard which is great on toast, and popularized nonfood items like margarine in order to make butter more expensive.
>>

Avocado is fucking disgusting.
>>
>>84212346
I ate avocado once, it tasted like grass with butter. Is this really what all the hype was about?
>>
Avocados are fine but even better when guacamole

Avocado tastes great. What are you all on about? It's nice and fatty. If it tastes like grass it's probably because it's not ripe. It's supposed to be soft.
>>
>>84213190
It's soft and disgusting, feels like it's gone off slimy and tastes like nothing.
>>
>>84212346
awful. avocado looks horrible, it has a horrible texture. i hate avocado
>>
I swear the guy who makes the millennial threads is the same guy who makes the zoomer threads, they type the exact same way
>>
>>84212450
quiet boomer. those meals were 20% of the cost, same with houses.
>>
>>84213270
it probably is the same boomer
>>

It just needs a little salt

>Why did boomers have such a problem with millennials liking avocado toast?
They were mad their "cereal" investments took a dip.
>>
>>84212346
probably a piece of propaganda that resonated with them

some elite probably said a sound bite victim blaming poor people

and boomers thought that was so alpha that they lined up to lick their boots
>>
>>84213352
Ha, we just worked 5 X as hard.

Millennials are all lazy. Kids these days don't know how easy they have it with their Iphones and computers.
>>

>Ha, we just worked 5 X as hard.
Nta, yeah you did, but you also got 10 X the reward for it. I'd work my ass off too if it wasn't a waste of my time.

Boomers have really great work ethics, but they also don't know when to quit because work has never been not worth it for them.

>Kids these days don't know how easy they have it with their Iphones and computers.
You mean the quazi slot machine I'm forced to carry around with me at all times and have an addiction to in order to be allowed function in society?

Millenial parents are giving their kids screens, and it's making them illiterate screen junkies. The Amish were right. This shit sucks. I'm saving in order to go homestead or something.

They steal the wages of young people while yelling this is mine, I worked for it. They live in a $million house while getting a $30k government pension. Whatever, they were in the right place at the right time but they don't like to admit they had it easy.

Real answer: when boomers were young, consumer goods like nice food and TVs were super expensive. Conversely necessary goods, like college, housing, and medical expenses were comparatively very cheap compared to modern times. Nowadays, it's reversed. Housing, college, and medical are very expensive; while consumer goods are pretty cheap. Boomers see millennials complain about cost of living, while indulging in expensive food. No one is struggling to pay for college cause they ate avocado toast, or bought a flat screen TV; but Boomers are stuck in mindset of how things costed when they were young.
