Personally, I don't care one way or the other. The issue is when you have what amount to "blue law" style rules, that aren't enforced or are barely enforced, you create a situation where they're only ever really used as an excuse to abuse janny powers, like others in this thread have already pointed out. They should either be enforced evenly, or stricken, IMO.

/tv/ is the fucking worst. They are such ban-happy cocksuckers there. Easily 90% of my bans came from there, so I rarely use it.
