Family wanted a surrogate to success/talent, normies wanted the loser to make them a sketch for the week.They stopped caring bout my nerdy hobbies, for which they ostracized me, whenever they wanted a drawing of their favorite football team's logo, or a car, or some flowers, or their favorite cat. My parents shamed me for my nerdy hobbies, boomer-lite garbage about all manner of trash you'd see on tv such as becoming cross-eyed from playing Xbox or "devil's fruit" from one piece being too much for a little kid.Destroy my shoulder from drawing 12 hours a day though? No problem, they get to brag to their hollow friend groups their son is a talented artist!
