>>84230256Yeah, its not particularly fun. Last campaign i killed my character off but the party used a wish I gave them as the final reward for beating the big bad to revive my character. I was a little annoyed, but it was a little heart warming as well.

>>84230223Kobolds are fun. There was a bit i had in a campaign a while back where the party needed to obtaon a seroes of artofacts and one was withon some kobold warrens. It turns out that the settlement is presided over by an ancient green dragon who informed the party anyone who harms the kobolds will be melted with acid and the only acceptable form of confrontation is by pitting a species of fighting beetle against someone elses. I was trying to make it kind of like pokemon and have everybody get their own beetles for an upcoming tournament where the winner gets to pick one item from the dragons hoard. I think this was the partys favorite part of the campaign and everyone got really attached to their bugs. I might do a whole campaign in a setting like this.
>>84230214I would revamp the bo1 prison escape into a fantasy setting, little more time spent actually in prison, maybe have like 2-3 fights/duels organized and bet on by the guards beforehand. Would probably last like 2 sessions depending on how fast the party is
