I have a hypothesis that the people who sperg the hardest about killing rapists are probably rapists.First, the classic "lady doth protest too much" concept that I'm sure you are all familiar with. But more importantly, it serves a strategic purpose. Most rapists know their victims. Most victims know their attackers. Most rape goes unreported or at least unpunished.So once you add the extra burden of "by reporting me you are directly responsible for my death", you are exponentially raising the stakes for everyone. I would surmise that the vast majority of rape victims will not want to kill anyone they know even if they were raped. Obviously, there are going to be exceptions but look at how many don't report already. It's clear where this would end up. And it's clear that a sophisticated predator understands this dynamic all too well.In short, anyone who says "death penalty for rape" is basically admitting that they are a cold, calculating sexual super predator. The definition of evil itself.
