There is the same amount of ambitious people as there were before. Even if you go back 50 years there's a clear division between high earners and passive low earners.It's more of a social thing that exists over anonymous internet discussions where men get shamed for being men. IRL, ambitious people are still needed and wanted. The business world is still cutthroat and you won't succeed by being submissive.
