I stole a used sock from my ex's room the night we broke up. Since I moved out, it was in storage for about three years. About a month ago I opened it for the first time expecting the smell to be gone. But I swear to god it still smelled exactly like her. It has a sweet and slightly sour odor that is definitely not present on an unworn sock. I don't know how the smell lasted that long, but I'm so happy it did. Lately I noticed the smell is starting to fade, likely from being exposed to the air for too long. In an attempt to preserve the odor, I sprinkled some water over it and pressed it against a new sock I haven't worn before. My hope is that whatever microbes that create the smell will grow and multiply and maybe spread to the new sock. Has anyone tried this before? Are there ways to preserve smells other than the water method? I'm open to suggestions.
There's lonely femcels on /foreveralonewomen right now dying for a crumb of male attention, and youre sniffing the old socks of some slut thats currently be ran through by chad. Why not spread some love around and steal a femcels socks and sniff those?
>>84252788They don't even want to date men anon, they just want to complain
>>84252788I'd rather sniff the socks of someone that actually loved me at one point than chase some reddit assholes. I know i said I'm open to suggestions but if it's not about socks I don't wanna hear it
You fucking retard the reason why it didnt change was because it was in a sealed environment
>>84252987You think keeping it sealed would preserve the smell indefinitely? A ziplock bag isn't gonna stop substances from degrading over time.
I wonder which subreddit this will be posted on
>>84252811The constant complaining vs actually working towards fixing the problem is how you can tell who's a woman on the Internet
>>84252774First off, you're a fucking legend, OP. I didn't think I'd see someone as autistic about foot smells as me. Secondly, I'm afraid there's not much you can do. As far as my research goes, unless you had a used sneaker to put the humid socks inside of, the microbial system will just slowly die off and the few ones that survive will eventually go "dormant" in a way. What you CAN do, however, is mix water with heat. It still won't be the same as when you opened the bag, but it will help them at least produce odor for longer
>>84252774I'll keep this thread open to find out the best way I can send my used panties to my beloved
>>84253175THANK YOU. Finally someone speaking my language. I put it by the air vent for some light warmth. Feeling optimistic. I think if it has lasted this long it will probably last awhile longer.
>>84253332I hope that works out for you man. It's amazing how smells can make a lasting impression on us when they're paired with emotional contexts. May I ask what happened between you and your ex?
>>84253355God it's embarrassing to admit. She was a neet and overly clingy. Not even that pretty. i basically left her because i thought i could find someone better. Never did. Three years later and it's like we swapped places. She has a job, friends, and a social life. And I have none of that. I treated her like shit and I guess I'm being cursed for it now. I spend an unhealthy amount of time reminiscing on the past. I should never have left her
>>84252788femcel socks probably smell like moldy cheese
>>84253355>>84253736Since we are being autistic about smells, I highly recommend "Kaguhara's Fetish Notebook". The descriptions of scent are really something special.
>>84252811You're doing the exact same thing. Just say you hate black femcels
just buy new used socks from her. Girls love them when their exes grovel like that
>>84255143I've had this thought before but I think she would block me or worse show her friends the message and laugh at me
